Volunteer meetings can be a great time for team building, training, and even having some fun together. However, they can also be boring, tedious, and drive people away from being a part of your team. It is important to be intentional with every volunteer meeting to avoid the latter. Super-sized Food Lock-in


Lock-ins are events that many Kid’s Ministries don’t even attempt because they can seem difficult or daunting, but they don't have to be scary if they are scheduled and organized. We plan two lock-ins each year, and the kids always ask when the next one is coming. Our budget for this event was $500, but we aimed for covering the majority of our cost by charging $10 per child. Super-sized Food Set Design


This month's set design was inspired by the 252 Basics theme: Super Size Me (Contentment). I drew a lot of my inspiration for this set from the Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs movies. We are planning a lock-in based off the super-sized food theme for this coming weekend, and we will be watching both of the Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs movies.I have been looking forward to this month's theme for a few months now.
